I regret to inform everyone that we lost Tommy Monday morning around 5:15 a.m. CS. I posted this on Monday evening, but somehow it is not here. He just went to sleep and did not wake up. Thanks the good man upstairs for that. He was so tired of the struggle to breathe and they dialysis. I know he is in a better place now, and probably picking with Day, Chalker and the other guys. I figure heaven is probably a lively place right now. There is not going to be any kind of formal service, as that is not was not what Tommy wanted. We hope to have a get-together for pickers and friends later on in the month when those who want can make arrangements in advance to attend. I will let everyone know the minute we decide on the time. I hope as many of you as can will be able to come here to celebrate with us the joys and memories of Tommy Roots. Thanks so much for all of your prayers and well wishes. They meant a lot to Tommy and they helped me get through.
