Sounds cool, Bobbe. What was your thesis on?

Oh, and say hi to Jeff Bradetich from me!

Come to think of it, I saw an opthomologist named Seymore Landa. No kidding.

And I knew a dream researcher at Stanford named Dr. Dement. A truly twisted dude. He used to keep grad students up for months at a time to see how warped they got. He should have studied Merle Haggard..... I am not making this up, he used to take these poor souls on 100 mph rides through the Santa Cruz mountains to keep them awake. It turns out that after somebody has been up for long enough, they seem to be awake, but they actually go to sleep for a few seconds at a time for hours at a time. Seems like I played with a few musicians who seemed to have mastered this.

He has taught in an institute that my son has gone to for the last few years. A great guy, and a fantastic teacher.

I should say that the 'Dement' research was done sans drugs, so I guess Merle would need to be excluded.

Hey Dr. Bobbe,
Just got back from Korea and saw this wonderful news.
Congratulations on your achievement.
They invented spell checkers for folks like you and me. Some things in education just don't stick to everyone, like spelling and nuclear physics.
Your freind,
Allen
