I down loaded Bill's Patents. I can tell you right now that Bill's Patent on the passive tone device is "NOT" the same as Craig Anderton's
Passive Tone Control. Although Craig's device has a coil that can be switched to different points, there is a big difference. In addition to the coil change on Craig's device, there are several possibilies by switching in and out of capacitors of different values within the circuit. Bills system is a intresting arrangement of coils which can be switched to different connections. And I see some voltage dividers that alter the circuit.
I can say this much--I like it.
The other patent of Bill's is also very interesting, in that it is a multi-functional coil system. As I read this patent something became obvious. I doubt that there is anyone in the world who has done more work on guitar coils than Bill. Actually it made me want to look closer at Bill's products and give them a good listen.
I may wind up with one of Bill's pickups on my guitar.
Now what about your "ANTENNA" system that eliminates HUM, Bill? Since you made Hartley sign a NON-Disclosure statement, I assume you do not have a patent on that device. Can you tell us more, or are you waiting on a patent?
