Reese, I noticed your comments regarding trade off between guitar flex and weight...That's probably why my MSA D12 is so dependable (it is HEAVY, in or out of the case) but anyway, what I was wondering is if anyone ever tried to make a titanium frame under some rock maple for a SG...My metalurgy training (none!) tells me that should be the best of both worlds...super strength and still having that solid tone. While on the subject...has any manufacturer made a SG that used BEARINGS at all the main pivot points (instead of bushings..or in some cases...nothing?) Gil
