bOb, The best sound a banjo makes is when it bangs into the accordion that is already in the dumpster.

Does swinging from those wagon wheel chandeliers in bars count as "Bar Acrobatics"? I've got that down to an art.

Buddy stated in a recent post that he eats a chicken wing before doing the bar twirling trick

How did he get the grease off the bar and strings? 409, industrial strength?

Here's the secret: Shhh, don't tell anybody. Buy a can of String Ease and spray the bar. Twirls are easy, keeping it on the strings of the guitar, there-in lies the problem, especially if you have had Tee Martooneys.

I have decided to try out the Big E recipe tonight and see if it works. I will eat a bucket of chicken wings. Set a pitcher of orange juice next to my steel. I will then practice twirling the bar ALL NIGHT LONG. Then I will go to bed. When I wake up, I will have mastered the art of twirling the bar.
I am still trying to figure out why my wife divorced me.

When I tried that eons ago, it was always attributed to the "white cross syndrome"!
