Hey....for all those like myself who also play telecasters, besides steel and banjo, etc. and want to learn how to get that 'Chicken Pickin' sound, here is a Free short video you can download and save to your hard drive. The artist is Peter Vogl. He shows you how to do it in slow motion and then speeds up. How to bend the strings to get a nice steel sound, etc. A really a nice free video. The tabulature is also provided if you scroll down the page. It is a big 33 MB file and with a fast Internet, will take about 6 minutes. You have to have Quicktime loaded on your computer. (The file name is 05a.mov) Just 'right click' on the quicktime icon and 'save as' to your hard drive. You can rename it, but make sure you keep the .mov extension. http://www.freeguitarvideos.com/LJ2/LJ2T05a.html Have fun, |

I've had that file in my computer for some time. It certainly is worth downloading. |

I forgot to mention that there is another simular file in that same section called 'Snapping and Popping'. It is simular to the 'Chicken Pickin' one, but different enough so it should be downloaded as well if your interested in that style of playing. http://www.freeguitarvideos.com/LJ2/LJ2T11a.html |

I love that chicken pickin sound. I wish I could download that link, but when I start it shows 9 hours and some odd minutes. I hate dial-up!
