I just now got off the phone with Jerry Byrd. The conversation brought me to tears and I was unable to continue our conversation. Jerry understood and we said good bye. I will do my best to keep you informed of his progress. Scotty

Thanks Scotty for keeping us posted. This is indeed a sad time for the steel guitar community. I am so thankful that I attended the St. Louis Show the last time Jerry performed. I can't imagine the world without Jerry Byrd. Lets keep Jerry in our prayers. Jody.

Scotty-Thanks for the update on Jerry Byrd.

Did the Doctors tell you what is his diagnosis and prognosis?
From the reports I've heard he is feeling pretty bad. I hope and pray that he will recover.....al

THANK YOU for the update, Scotty.

Many hearts are heavy, as we leave the length and beauty of our all-time Hero Jerry's sunset in God's ample hands. May we all continue our Prayers and Best Wishes and express our deepest appreciation for the unmeasurable joy Jerry has so generously, genuinely and geniously given to this planet.

Aloha Ke Akua,
Denny Turner~

I can't begin to tell you what it was like to
stand on stage next to Jerry Byrd and hear those sounds come out of his amp. It is something I will never forget. Then to get to know him made it complete. God bless
Jerry. Bobby

I'm so sorry I stumbled upon Jerry Byrd's music so late in life, but at least I can appreciated his masterful artistry now. Suffice it to say I'm listening and learning from him and will continue for years to come. My heart goes out to him . . .(thanks for posting . ..)
