April, I'm afraid it is the "luck of the draw" when it comes to sound on an awards show. Despite the fact that it is supposed to be a "music awards" show, it's really more about who is the worst or best dressed and who shows the most cleavage. For the life of me I don't understand why they don't at least let the artist's own soundman "assist" with the mix. It would really improve the technical side of things. Thanks for listening! |

Mark. Gary does the equivalant of that every time he takes off his hat! :-) Other than full frontal nudity, that will get him a standing ovation everytime!! :-) And hey... he is the "best dressed" of anyone in the group. [This message was edited by Danny Hullihen on 21 April 2005 at 02:20 PM.] |

You guys are like a Vaudeville act.... But I will try showing more cleavage by turning around with my backside to the audience! LOL By the way, thankyou April and I hope to meet you if your dad's band opens up for Dierks sometime. [This message was edited by Gary Morse on 21 April 2005 at 07:59 PM.] |

Danny, you're right about Gary being the best dressed. He was the only one in the band that had his shirt tucked in. And, as ya'll know he's the only one in the band that has the audacity to wear a cowboy hat! Gary, I'm playing at Billy Bob's all this week. Tonight we are opening for David Allen Coe. I'm not expecting to see many cowboy hats and western shirts there tonight! However, I am expecting to see some good fights and hear the words "Play some Skynard man!" ------------------ Strats thru a tweed Bassman Band Pics |
