Andy, once again - many thanks for posting this interview as well as the Jerry Byrd interview.

The part about how he developed the tunings clarified some things I'd wondered about for a lot of years.

Good stuff. Thanks.

Andy - Thank you very much once again - greatly appreciated. Great and generous work. I hope you are headed for a book-length collection - it would be nice to get the info out into the "bigger world" in book form some day. - Bob

Excellent Andy...thanks for taking the trouble to put this interview to 'paper'. I am trying to recall when Leon left us..seems it was within the past year, but I am not certain of the date. Laurie, who lives in Calgary, AB., (home of the famous Calgary Stampede), had a long and distinguished career with the CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation), prior to his retirement a few years ago. I am proud to be included amongst his friends. ...he is one neat guy!
