Has anyone tried these Sicilian Weissenborn copies? I remember seeing some Musikalia bouzoukis and mandolins and they were somewhat crude. They can be seen at www.musikalia.it
How about other european manufacturers making Weissenborns?

Manzanita's are made in Germany and have a good reputation.

Though I'm not certain, these Weissenborn repro's look a lot like those that John Pearse was importing a few years ago. I bought one and thought it was the prettiest little guitar I ever owned that nobody could hear! By this I mean that it had no volume at all...a uke would drown it out!
