Both of these organizations publish a newsletter 4 times a year and have $26/year
membership dues. You won't be disappointed
in either group. They feature Hawaiian steel guitar players, discography, various tunings and oft times have tabulature.

P.S. John Ely (Asleep at the Wheel) is the
webmaster for HSGA.

I'd like to add a plug for the HSGA's annual convention in Joliet, Illinois (40 miles outside of Chicago). Next years convention will be held Oct 3-5, 2002.

Aloha International has a yearly convention also, usually held the second week of July (I don't have the dates yet). This convention is held in Winchester, Indiana (near Muncie).

Interested folks should search this forum for reviews and postings about the conventions. They will definitely want to attend!
