I have a bootleg tape ... recently recorded in Portland, Or ... Proving that JB has not retired ... he is in fact playin' in a locals (Hawaiians) group ... and is playing the most beautiful Ricky Bakelite Hawaiian Steel Guitar I have heard ... maybe ever.Chilling ... Sorry but I had to ... If I lived anywhere remotely near Ray Montee ... I would be at his door ... You have been notified .... See Ya -----------------------------------------

Yep ... I listened to it all day ...The Hawaiian troup is fantastic (who are they) .... beautiful old style ....and that back-up steel ... Definitely JB .... late 40's style... Yep ... JB in the "Land of Tonya Harding" ... Can't beat that with a STICK  -----------------------------------------

You know what Ray tried to tell me ? He said it was him playing the steel on that cd. What a downright lie that was!!! Anyone with a lick of sense would know it was JB himself. OK, so I ain't got a lick of sense! |

George I had thoughts about it being JB also. The laid back style and the Rick sound coupled with clean and tasteful choice of licks was to say the least outstanding. Any more would have been too much and any less, would have not been enough. Great job Ramone!  ------------------
