I have a D8 console steel I bought in a used music store (hole in the wall, I happened to be there for something else and I saw it, and bought it). It's a Double neck, with 8 strings on each, three legs, scale length is either 24" or 24+1/2".

Front neck has one pickup, back neck has two, switches for the three pickups, volume and tone controls between the necks, tuning machines that are attached in a well, similar to the Fenders I've seen.

Cosmetically good shape, everythings works, very clean, but here's the kicker: it's a Bruno Conqueror. Anyone know anything about these... I saw one for sale at Music City Instruments for $500 (I think), with a bit more wear, and different color fretboards, and different switches. It is a light-yellow/blonde painted/lacquered(?) deal.

Any guesses on price, if I decided to sell? (sorry to run on.)

The Bruno Conqueror was built by Guyatone of Japan and is similar to the Guyatone steel guitars. They are similar in configuration to Fender Stringmasters but of inferior quality.
This Australian site has as much information as I've been able to find (note the price in Australian dollars).

Sounds like my D8 Guyatone Which I like the sound of and that is what I am playing at the present. I don't remember how much I paid for it, bought it from Seymore in Nashville when he was in that awful place by the interstate a long time ago.
My T8 Stringmaster is in the case.along with others.

All times are Pacific (US)
