Can't make Europe, but I was just now out in the car enjoying 'Uma.' I have a friend in New York who heard "Louisiana", was sorry he'd missed you there, and is watching for you next time around. Good luck on the tour, bet it goes great. |

"Bonne chance" on the tour. I enjoy your music greatly. Will you be performing at the same time as Lę Quan Ninh and Sean Meehan? If so, how would you characterize this music? Chris ------------------ |

Charlie and Chris, Thank you very much for your comments. The dates with Le Quanh Ninh and Sean Meehan are trio dates, though I imagine there will also be solo sets. How to characterize the trios, I'm not really sure. I imagine that we won't discuss the music before we get on stage and start playing, so this will probably be "free improvisation" for lack of a better word. Though I love songs, I enjoy this approach because it keeps you on your toes, and if done well, keeps you honest, musical, and creative. |
