Hi Folks.. I have just added a new sound file in real audio to Neil,s page. Texas Playboy Rag played on the C 6th neck.. This is one song from his double ambum "Neil flanz And His Nashville Steel" and "Get On The Star Route". This tape is now for sale for those who would like to purchase one. You can e-mail Neil at flanz1@bellsouth.net Neil also has instruction albums for the E9th tuning on the pedal steel, and has also written a book called the C 6th chord dictionary for the C 6th Nashville setup. folks- The two albums listed above will blow you away! Lots of C6 and E9, and total mastery of the instrument. Great tone too! |

Any way to get the entirety of "Southern Sunday" on his website? It is certainly Hall of Fame material as is his live 1973 CD with Gram Parsons and the Fallen Angels. Neil really sticks to his country routes and "invents" a R&R style. |
