So,
What do you use to make it shine again?

I've got some commercial teflon auto polish/protectant - the stuff the dealer's aftermarket types apply to cars. It works great for everything on the guitar - aluminum, mica, etc.

(Also the slick surface makes my speed pickin faster )

Try a product called Kleenmaster Brillianize.
“Anti-static cleaner and polish for plastics and shining surfaces.”
I pick it up at a place that sells plexiglas, etc.
There is a phone # on the bottle, 800-445-9344, to call for the nearest distributor.
Works great for me.

Brillianize is a great product. Used to use it when I was building store displays out of acrylic. Never thought to use it on formica. I'll have to pick some up.

Wayyyy back in the ol' days we used to use floor wax to polish the formica tables at work - that way when you were nailing someone with the queen of spades, you could really slide that sucker!

I recommend "COUNTERTOP MAJIC". It is a very good product that cleans Formica well and it leaves a luster finish. Individual spray cans are available in many hardware stores, home improvement centers and Formica distributors.

I use Flitz on both the Aluminum and formica of my Steel. If you have light scratches, it will take it out of the formica. You can get it at Some Ace Hardware stores and some gun shops also carry it. The Rev
