I just left talking to Kenny Joseph and He does not have a computer. He would like to know the where abouts of Tom Bath, a super picker and once was a student of Paul Franklin. If any body knows his where abouts. Sure would be appreciated. Thank you. Jim A..

I knew Tom Bath in Houston circa '81. I think he was working with Kelley Schoppa. He also was opener at an Emmons concert at that time which I have a tape of somewhere. He was excellent. He might have been from upstate New York.

I am from the Buffalo area, and knew Tom very well. Yes, the best player I ever heard, out side of the very top pros. He could have been amongst them if he really wanted. I haven't talked to him in a couple years, but I am sure he still lives in Buffalo [ Tonawanda, I think]. In fact I think I will call him tonight. I'll mention this thread.
And Dan Dowd, Tom once told me you were one of the best players in that area, and that means a lot, as there were many really great players there over the years.
Also his dad Lee was a player, and one of the nicest guys you would ever want to meet.

Bill,
I always thought you were an exellent player,
on guitar too. I whish I could have seen the band with you, Marci, Lee and Rick Price.
And I can just see Sammy Davis, sleeping while playing drums with that band.

Hi Lee and Tom.
Welcome to the forum.
Marci and I miss you guys. Recent trips home have been short and not allowed for much time other than seeing the old folks.
Hope Tom is doing great, and still playing great as ever. Please email us and give us your number so we can call.
Marci and Rex
