Robby is a good friend of mine. He is one of today's premier steel guitarist. His resume' of who he has worked with or recorded with includes the "whose who" of the entertainment world. But more than this, Robby is a great individual, one whom I am proud to call "my friend".
P.S. Robby is also a "killer" bass player .

Robby impresses all of us. He is one of the greatest steel players in the business. He also has a recording studio. He is a friend of mine also.

Hi Daymon....
Recently I found a series of CD's that Robby and Johnny Cox did as instrumentals. They're called "Pick' on....." George Straight, Dixie Chicks, and Garth Brooks. There is some really great sounds on these disks not only by Robby and Johnny but by some other super
musicians too.

Best wishes.
Clay

Robby is one of best players out there. He has a rich heritage in music, as his Dad ,Doyle, and his mom,Berniece were in Hank Sr's band in the earky days. Doyle on steel, and Berniece on guitar. Robby is such a nice guy and I consider myself lucky to have been associated with him. He was on The Highwaymen Shows, and did a lot of work with Waylon and Willie, plus studio work in Nashville and L.A.. If you need to record, go to Turner Up Studio. Robby will do you a good job.

Daymon, you owe it to yourself to get Robby's CDs Man of Steel and Steel Country. They not only contain superb steel playing backed with outstanding musicians, but the production qualities are second to none. You won't find CDs with better sound quality anywhere. Highly recommended!!
