I've used "midi-robot" and done some other searchs but have had no luck.

Does anybody know where I can find midi files of the following tunes:

Right Or Wrong
Bud's Bounce
Hold It
B. Bowman Hop
A Closer Walk With Thee

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
HH

I have a midi file for "A Closer Walk With Thee". I will email it to you tonight when I get home from work.

I would like midi files for the rest of those songs also.

Hi Harry, I have all of those songs in my catalog, if you will give me a few days I will send them to you. Do you have a good sound card or a good module? If you don't I can send them in the mp3 format and they will sound exactly the same as I recorded them here. Please just let me know.

Russ,

I meant to say www.musicrobot.com, not midirobot. Sorry.

Richard,

I'd really appreciate that file. I want to use it to play the tab arrangement of the tune from the Herbie Wallace (#200) C6 book along with.

Chippy,

I tried musicrobot. All I found was another song called Right Or Wrong, not the swing tune. The swing "Right Or Wrong" is very similiar to "Anytime". I think it was written by J.R. Chatwell, a swing fiddle player from San Antonio whom I had the pleasure of knowing back in the '70's.

If you've foung "Right Or Wrong" and "Hold It" there, can you post the address's of the files? I couldn't find 'em there, wonder how I missed 'em?

Big Bob,

I'd really appreciate those midi files!!

I'm on a G3Mac. I have the MOTU 2408 rack mount in/out w/card. I use Cubase VST/24 4.1 for recording and playing midi files, etc.

Thanks everybody,
HH

Anybody know how to save BIAB files so they can be opened up in other music software programs (Cubase)?

Richard,

Received the file, thanks. I'll transfer it to my music computer tommorrow and open it up in Cubase.

Regards,
HH

Band In A Box will save a tune as a Standard Midi File- is there a button on the toolbar that says "mid"?- click the button and it will save the most recently generated "arrangement"; or go to "file","save as" or "Make a Standard MIDI File" (I forget which on Mac)
look for the exact how to in the "help" ...
I think it saves it as SMF type 0 with each channel on a seperate track and the filename with a .MID extension...

once you save it a an SMF any sequencer can open or import it..

s'not rocket science...Just MIDI

Big Bob,

Sounds like you have a great collection. Are they all .MID files? I'd like to get them, too. Is there a way you can put them up on a site for ftp download?

Hi everyone, I just wanted to ask all of the persons interested in my midi files to post their top 10 songs that they would like to have, and after I figure out the top 10 I will post those songs for downloading in midi format or mp3. I will set up a ftp download site so that you can download any or all of the top 10 songs. I hope we all have fun with this venture.

Hi again, I can not stress this point enough, these or any other midi files will sound cheap and rinky-dink if you do not have a good sound card or a good module. There are a couple of samples in the mp3 format if you want to hear what they will sound like with a good card. I can send them in either format. Thanks again
