I once went to see her show, sat in the 3rd row and used binoculars, and they were the zoom kind. Need I say more.

Read in the Tennessean today that Sammy Kershaw is getting a DIVORCE and is living with his girl friend who is Lorrie Morgan. She must have gave up on bus driver and musicians.

Doug Jernigan played for her at one time. I think he quit the time she took off to have a baby. I know Doug played on one of her number one records. If I am not mistaken, I think that was the only number one hit Doug ever played on. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Hey Joe, her steel players name is Joshua, and I can't remember his last name. He is from Japan, and has been in the US for about 10yrs. Before Lorrie he was with Radney Foster. He plays and Emmons Legrande and his playing has improved 100% since I first heard him in Denver about 10yrs ago.
He is also a good friend of monster steel player Slim Yamaguchi, who plays for Mark Chestnut.........Ronnie

Thank you Ronnie for your response. Yes, his name is Joshua. I had the pleasure of talking to him before the show. He sounded really good and the mix was great. Lorrie sang "Fly Me to the Moon" and Joshua did a nice C6 break in it. The whole band sounded great. He told me he also plays with a jazz-blues band in Nashville. All kidding aside, Lorrie puts on one heck of a show and played some nice traditional country along with her hit songs. She featured her musicians and lavished them with compliments throughout the performance. It's too bad a lot of other singers can't be as complimentary with their musicians. I would definitely go to see her again. Joe

I feel that her sex life is none of our business. All she owes us is a good per formance. The fact that she features her sidemen and treats her sidemen with respect
speaks well of her. Treat her like a lady.
What's it going to cost you? You'll be a better person for it.
All the best,-Andy

P.S. Women are here to stay, but if they ever go, I'm going with them.

She is one of the most underrated singer in Nashville. It took her years to finally hit the big time, she is really great.

Another singer is Dawn Sears, she sings her tail off, but has not hit yet.

Is the song,To Get to You, the same one that Jerry Wallace recorded in the early 70s?
I would love to hear Lorrie Morgan sing it. It's her next single, according to the article.
All the best,-Andy
