Here's an idea for Peavey, why not produce a RC 2000 remote for use on a combo rack unit like the following: Peavey DPC 1400 or DPC 1000 & TransTubeFex or ProfexII and Nashville 112Es speaker cabs. I have all the above plus a Nashville 400 and Session 500. I'm not yet ready for the new 1000 or 2000 since I just purchased the DPC 1400 about 5 months ago. It would be nice to have this RC 2000 controller attached to the leg of the steel controlling a set up like the one above. Ken

Ken, As long as your TubeFex and/or TransTubeFex has an eight pin midi jack (din connector) and I beleive it does, you can use the RC 2000 with those processors. I haven't had a chance to try this yet, but I believe it would work.

Hello Danny and Kenneth, The Peavey RC2000 midi remote handcontroller will work as a controller for the Peavey Session 2000, Transtube Fex, Tubefex and the Profex II processor units. This RC2000 does attach to the leg of the steel guitar for convenience. The LCD(liquid crystal display)on the RC2000 will not display the same "name" of the preset when using it with the Profex II unit, but will display the number of the preset. Using it with the Tubefex, Transtube Fex and Session 2000 units will result with both units showing identical names of the presets on both LCD screens. For more information on the new Peavey Nashville 1000, Session 2000, RC2000 midi remote controller or the PX300 powered extension speaker, you may contact Mike Brown at Peavey. Our toll free U.S. number is 1-877-732-8391 and outside the U.S., our number is (601)483-5365.
