Does anyone know if the Sho-Bud company is still building guitars?I have heard two stories, one, they are out of business, and secondly, they are still producing guitars, but they don't advertise.I know they used to be at 416 Broadway in Nashville, and then I heard they moved their facility else where.I don't know if they are still owned by Gretcsh,or Music City Manufacturing.I'm just curious as to what is going on with them

Kenny, Shobud moved from Nashville to
Conway Ar in the early 80s to the Baldwin
piano plant which built the grand pianos.
They later moved to DeQueen AR in the old
baldwin organ plant.Part of the plant moved
back to Conway where the laquer maverick
was built. The LDG was going to be built
there also but they sold to Gretch and
moved to the Carolinas. In the late 80s some
guitars were built in Gene Haugh's garage
in Magazine Ar on an order only basis. I dont
know now what is going on.
