Well, he used to have a website http://home.att.net/~parker1939/, but that address no longer seems to be good. I had not been there in several months, so I guess he has changed hosting companies, or no longer has a site. Seems like Ricky Davis is a friend of his…maybe he will jump in here and enlighten us on David’s whereabouts.

That's David Parker's e-mail>is it not working? Or did you just not have it. Don't know what's up with his site. Dave did move from San Antonio up near the Dallas area; maybe he ditched the server for the site.
Hope that gets you there.

I'm trying to hold of him too. He's at 5142 C.R.281 Kaufman,Texas 75142 Also I have phone# (972)962-2389 All I know is that he was tied a couple weeks ago with making parts for Herb Remmington. So if above info doesn't work, try Remmington, he must know.

David moved to Dallas , but is in the process of moving back to San Antonio. He should be making parts again as soon as he gets his shop set back up.

Hey Roger; I didn't know Dave was moving back? That is good news for me>cause we are about finished with the design of the D-10 SS HAWAIIAN and I need him for that of course.
To all others. David Parker has diabeties; and just had Eye Surgery. He is too proud to complain of his conditions; and will still log in unbelievable hours in the shop despite his poor conditions he has sometimes.
Please be patient with the man if you want him to make your stuff. There are others that will make your parts for you quicker; but there is no better machinist than the long time steel playing David Parker.

I have to put in my 2 cents about Dave Parker.I met him about 12 years ago and he is an excellent machinist...the man makes evrything...from parts for steels to parts for planes.About a year ago he machined a bar for me and with the use of a computer program engraved my name on the end of it....it's the best bar I've ever had!

David Parker, who is an elderly gentleman BTW, is a remarkable man who logs incredible hours in his Rube-Goldberg-looking shop making parts on an ancient milling machine controlled by computer-driven Servo-units. He also works on his own schedule, but when you do get the parts, they are just what you wanted. Be patient with him, though I know that can be frustrating.

Roger, I didn't know DP was moving back to SA? Whassup wi' dat?

Okay here is the story.I had moved the shop to Kaufman,Tx to get my oldest son to help me make parts for steel guitars including the Remington SustainMaster 2000 because of health reasons like diabetes, cataracts, and other neck and back problems. I am still leagally blind now. It didn't work out with my son so I moved back to San Antonio,Tx and had to set the shop back up by myself. My son was mad at me because he thought I was locked in there and couldn't do anything about it so he killed all the phones and internet service before I could say a word to anyone.I just now got back on line and have a hard time seeing to do anything at this time.I have cataract surgery June 6 and they tell me I should have 20/20 or better after a couple of months. The shop is running, and all is back together. Can't do a webpage yet.Too much eye strain but, soon.I can run some parts I have programed but the new things will just have to wait.I want to thank all of you for the good comments. Herb I have the shop all straight now. Have the room for a five piece band in here.My new phone number 210-822-0892 B.Bailey come over if you need a bar.Ricky get them drawings done.Hiro I sent you e-mail.Opps ! almost forgot Mike he said three cents worth Thanks ! Dave

I second that on the bar. David machined me one out of tool steel 7/8"x 3 1/2". It's a perfect feel. slightly denser then stainless. Love it.
