I just now got off the phone with Jerry Byrd. The conversation brought me to tears and I was unable to continue our conversation. Jerry understood and we said good bye. I will do my best to keep you informed of his progress. Scotty |

Thanks Scotty for keeping us posted. This is indeed a sad time for the steel guitar community. I am so thankful that I attended the St. Louis Show the last time Jerry performed. I can't imagine the world without Jerry Byrd. Lets keep Jerry in our prayers. Jody. |

I can't begin to tell you what it was like to stand on stage next to Jerry Byrd and hear those sounds come out of his amp. It is something I will never forget. Then to get to know him made it complete. God bless Jerry. Bobby |

I'm so sorry I stumbled upon Jerry Byrd's music so late in life, but at least I can appreciated his masterful artistry now. Suffice it to say I'm listening and learning from him and will continue for years to come. My heart goes out to him . . .(thanks for posting . ..) |
