I haven't heard of this name before you asked. From a search of the web it appears as if it's a brand name applied to a lower end budget guitar line. I could find no web site specifically related to Jim Harley guitars, but I did find many European dealers who were selling Jim Harley guitars at what appeared to be budget prices.

A search on Google turned up 20 results, but I don't speak French or German, so I'm not sure how far to take this. Search for "Jim Harley" in quotes and the word "guitar" in whichever language you'd like to find dealers who advertise in that language.
I don't think I made it clear enough that I did not see any mention of a Jim Harley resonator guitar in any link I was able to find.
Google is my current favorite search engine. I would recommend them for your searching.

Good luck!

Jaohn,

AFAIK Jim Harley is a brand name of guitars that the Musikhaus Thomann in Germany imports from Korea, I think. (http://www.thomann.de) They are specialised in copys of every imaginable guitar on the market. All their stuff is ultra-cheap but I've heard from some guys who own copys of Strat- and Ricky-types that they are not as bad as one could think. I haven't heard their Dobros, but I think you can order them from Thomann with a 30-days money-back warranty. I also urge you to try the Regal Dobros, they are in the same price segment and are pretty good. They have a sound construction are are well made.

Brad,Martin. Thanks for your help.Think I'm gonna take a little trip to London. London Resonator Center (LRC)seems to be the right place for me and it's only 2 hours and 40 minutes away with the Eurostar train.

Say "Hey" to Mel for me if you go to the LRC, and that I'm going as fast as I can with the guitar.
