I have a few Hawaiian recordings on which Eddie Pang is the steel guitar player. Did Eddie use a pedal steel at some point in his career or are my ears as bad as I've always suspected ? Can anyone coroberate my suspicions ?

Eddie Pang DID play a pedal steel guitar, an 8 pedal Fender 1000. I saw him live with this instrument MANY years ago. He palyed on many albums and this guitar is pictured on at least two jackets. One was by Eddie Kekaula if I remember right. The cabinet was repainted and heavily "decorated" but the instrument was stock electronic-wise. |
