Anyone know the site address for gibson to get electronic schematics for gibson amps?
I used the site a few years ago, but can't seem to find it now.

Thanks for the info guys.......it seems that Gibson made two versions of the GA8T Discoverer amp. The early one was produced in 1961 and earlier. The one I have was made from 1962 on.
The schematics from the two sources you two supplied have the early version schematics and only a picture of the late GA 8T, so I'm still looking !!
The one I have has 2 6EU7 tubes, 2 6BQ5 tubes, and a 6AC4 rectifier.
I just replaced the 6BQ5s (EL84)because they were gassy, but the amp works good. My intention is to check to bass and treble circuits to get more bass/less treble.

Hi Bill,
Your amp is from the "Crestline series"

GA-8T Discoverer (Crestline)

15W 1x12" Guitar Combo with Tremolo
Speakers: 1x12"
Inputs: 2
Channels: 1
Volume Controls: 1
Tone Controls on Each Channel: Bass, treble
Tremolo: Depth, frequency
Reverb: No
Tubes: 5 (2x6EU7, 2x6BQ5, 6CA4 (correspond to Epiphone EA-35T Devon))
Diodes: 0
Extension Speaker Jack: Yes
Monitor Jack: Yes
Watts Output: 15
Shipping Totals: 1962: 1458, 1963: 1419, 1964: 1769, 1965: 1127, 1966: 6 (new style from 1964)

I have quite a few Gibson amps and schematics... but not this one. It is the same as an Epiphone EA 35T Devon.... so if you can find that schematic, you are in business.

Came across this site in regards to your question. They do have some schematics on line, but you may have to contact them for your particular model. Here is the article:

Many schematics and wiring diagrams are available online at http://www.gibson.com/relations/schematics. However, we do have an extensive archive of schematics and wiring diagrams at our disposal. Please contact Gibson Customer Service if you cannot locate the one you need online. If it’s available we will be happy to send you a copy. (relations@gibson.com) Good luck.

You are right Mike, it's the Crestline series just as you described.
Andy, I found that Gibson site last night and emailed them , so maybe I'll get a response. Thanks

Thanks all who responded, and thank you John for the print. I have it copied OK, so I'll see if I can fix tone circuits.
