Craig has posted probably one of the finest C6 non pedal tunes ever on the SGF with a great tutorial to go along with it in the Tab section. http://steelguitarforum.com/Forum8/HTML/002611.html Man, this really raises the bar on how to post tab, he's cutting me I tells ya! This is a great song and has to be the first time in history that Jules Au See tab was posted on the world wide web (note for note) . Great Job Craig, you da man! I think maybe just a link to the original topics is best.. It should speed up loading of the page for others..[This message was edited by basilh on 03 January 2006 at 04:27 AM.] |

The Hula Blues tab looks fantastic. Is there a sound file of the transcibed song available? |

Basilh, Thanks for the work product mate! Hey, I couldn't save the tab because it kinda just got stuck at 57% ...? Anyone else have this problem? Basilh, I really enjoyed reading the stories, what is your magazine called and how does one become a subscriber here in "the other side of the big pond" ? Thanks... |

Mitch,That version of Hula Blues is on the Cord International release "History of the Hawaiian Steel Guitar": http://www.cordinternational.com/history-steel.htm If you like Hawaiian guitar that CD is definitely worth owning. It has a couple of other Jules Ah See tracks on it. There is also a link to a low-fi version of it in this Forum post: http://steelguitarforum.com/Forum2/HTML/007782.html Gary |
