I just had my BMI U-12 rebuilt at the factory and it needed some adjustments that I couldn't do. I didn't have the time to send it back to Arkansas so I took it up to Billy Cooper's Steel Shop in Orange, Va. to see if he could take care of it. Billy stopped what he was doing and adjusted everything while I waited and got the thing playing like a dream. He does great work and has a techical knowlege like no one else around. His labor cost was very minimal and I felt guilty so I bought some accessories while I was there. He's got a good stock of any steel related items you need and he's very pleasant to deal with....JH in Va.

Don't matter who's in Austin (or anywhere else) Ralph Mooney is still the king!!!

I 2nd the kudos for Billy! I had my GFI down there the other week to get some work done on it. It was never set up properly since I had it. In a couple of hours he had it playing better than anything I've ever played. I was having tuning problems and they are gone.

I bought a new vol pedal and some other goodies. After paying my bill, he took me in the back room and gave me the equivalent of at least as much as the bill in books for my ministry--free of charge.

He and Wanda are tops in my book.

I'd love to have Billy and Wanda living next door; I think that they are just great. He adjusted my Emmons for me; and yes I like to drive down there just to say hi and just walk around all those psg he has on display.
