Bobby had the first Webb 6-14 E amp. I had the second. The earlier Sho-Bud amp was built by Evans. It sounded better than my Vox Super Beatle so I bought it and used it until I bought a Gallien-Kruger and drove 4 12" JBLs. Ooooh, that was a big sound. After that, Bobby turned me on to the Webb and it was better. Now I have two.

Yes, it was a D-12 Emmons he played later on with Cody after the "Georgia Overdrive" Sho-Bud (with the changeover pedals for each neck). He might have had another Sho-Bud in between. I think he did, because he loaned me the Georgia Overdrive when I was working on my first album in '73 or '74. The Emmons was shiny black.

"HEY RICHARD SINKLER", do you remember when Bobby shaved off all his hair? I too have known Bobby a long time. He has got to be the Gentleman of all steel players. Bobby made it look so easy! Him and his brother Larry, were the Dynamic Duo of "twin guitar" back in my California days.

Dave, I can't say I do remember that, of course I am getting old. I do remember drooling over your playing when our bands used to cross paths. I used to play for Desert Star. Sure glad too see you on the forum and that you are still picking.

Dave is one FABULOUS player and a real gentleman.
