Jeff-
Right. I agree that with a D10 my Pedal 5 and 6 are to me just like your A and B.

Most songs can be played with A and B on E9 and 5 and 6 on C6.

I hit them both for my diminished. Those are the most used pedals on C6. Next to that is Pedal 7.
I put that on my RRK now on my S12.
I don't play E9/B6, I use E9-E6-E13. My LLK is the E9 E to F AND the boowaw (C6 8th pedal).

Kenneth-
That old 13th was some chord, impressed a lot of people in the old days. Speedy West used it plenty.

Pedal 5 and 7 used together are MOST important, and that is why we all had to put both feet on the pedals.

And putting one on both sides wont't work as you must at times use pedal 7 with the dim. Pedal 5 and 6 together.

Carl - You are so right on the U12. The Pedal 6 should (in fact, must) be put on a knee as you do. This can be used with both E9 and B6 playing.

I put P7 on a Knee, but it is faster to operate with your foot. Probably why Buddy still uses both feet....al
