Looks like George is into it. Jimmy Peppers wrote a song for Jones "Tonight I just don't give a damn" about Jones not wanting to do the Opry one night. |

Yeah,Jack-I think George was maybe a little fired up standing next to one of his heroes...I know I was happy to be there with both of them...Buck-I don't know what you mean...we both made it a point to remain clear-headed at all times back in those days...didn't we? ------------------ |

Here's one of Jimmy Peppers and George, back when Peppers was the band manger for Jones, and did some harmony singing. I'd guess early 70's (in the "no show" days). |
