Anyone know if there are serial number lists available to determine the manufacture date of a Nashville 400. I just received a 400 and want to confirm its age. I checked the Peavey website and couldn't find anything.

Thanks, Chuck

Thanks Clay. Most all of our serial numbers run in consecutive order. Prior to approximately 1990 or so, the manufacture year and quarter could be found by the serial number prefix designation. For example, "3A" meant 1983 if it was a model that we manufactured in the decade. However, the Nashville 400 was manufactured during two decades, so it would be hard to determine the exact decade for a model/serial number such as this.

On the serial numbers that do have the prefix designation, there was a yearly quarter designation also in the lower right hand corner.

For specific info, call me toll free in the U.S. at 1-877-732-8391. I'll be glad to assist you.

Thanks for choosing and using Peavey gear!
