Frank, there is nothing special about the switch except it is a Double Pole, Double Throw, On/On/On

Pretty standard at most any electronics store. You just need to be sure you get one of the proper size for the hole in the end of your guitar.

Radio Shack switches are ok, but they are not real dependable. I would opt for a Switchcraft.

"Pretty standard at most any electronics store." Not here in Alaska. I stopped at 3 Hardware stores and called when electrician supply store. I got the same anwser from all four. That sounds like a special order switch. Go back to the manufacture that sold the original to you. So if you want to drop a few names of where I might get a couple of these toggle switches, I'd be more then thankful.

The name of the switch you want is Double Pole Double Throw (DPDT) with Center On. You'll probably be better off buying one from a builder as at Dekley we had to special order ours to get the proper thread length to go through the endplate. You'll have to find a builder that uses the switch in the endplate like Sho-Bud did.

Just a thought, but how about a Les Paul switch. Is the shaft long enough?
