Yes I can, but I would like to know more about your rig first.
Guitar, pickup(s), pedal, effects, which Evans preamp, cabinet(s) and speaker(s)?

Also, who are your favorite players, which players most closely match the tone you hear in your head (the tone you are searching for), and what styles of music do you most frequently play?

Also, do you use effects, and what type and brand?

A general rule of thumb is to start with all settings at "5" and all switches to "off", then experiment.

My favorite settings for an Evans DP2R or an ESPA, is as follows as used with an 1992 Emmons Lashley LeGrande with 1973 Emmons single coil in E9 and 1992 Emmons 108 humbucker in C6, Matchbro (off but in line, treble boosted slightly), Goodrich L120 volume, Boss RV-3 (delay only at 300-350ms, three repeats), All George L's .155 cable and plugs, input one of preamp, Alesis RA-100 Power Amp, Evans Tweed cabinets with 15" Eclipse Speakers:
Master (3)
Reverb (4-5) (DP2R only with external tank)ESPA has no internal reverb.
Depth (ON)
Expand (ON)
Bass (9)
Body (8)
Treble (3-4)
Volume (3)

Note: With the ESPA, I will use an Alesis Quadraverb GT for reverb, delay and some choruses, in the stereo effects loop and eliminate the Boss RV-3.

Also, instead of using the Alesis amp and Evans speaker cabs, you can run the output of the preamp to the power amp in jack of a Peavey Nashville or Session and adjust the eq's accordingly, or even into a direct box and house or recording console. I prefer speakers however. If I do go direct, I will most likely turn the expand switch off and cut the treble on the preamp and matchbro slightly.

I hope this helps, Thanks, God Bless,
Michael T.
