Are you looking at the wire points inside the mic where the body unscrews or are you looking at the xlr pin connections?

It is where the head unscrews from the body. The small black wire that is on the screw post inside is my main concern, but help with all of it is most welcome. Thanks:

The black wire from the center of the capsule goes into the lower part of the mic and should be soldered to that copper strip which then has a black wire that goes down all the way to pin 1 on the xlr jack. It's the ground wire. The two colored wires go to the transformer that's tucked down inside beneath the copper strip.
