I am looking for some settings for delay and reverb for the Lexicon mpx 100. Anyone got any ideas to put me on the right track? Thanks |

Mark, my suggestion would be to take some time, read the manual, and experiment for an hour or more turning the knobs and finding a sound or sounds you like. In this way, you will learn what the machine does to and for your own sound. This is the best way to discover what an effect can do. ..but since you asked for a fish and not a fishing lesson, I'll tell ya what I use......Plate Reverb (7 O'clock) on variation 7, delay to taste with tap button, (try one 1/2 second, 1 second, etc)...mix at about 11 o'clock, adjust at 1 o'clock...I keep the input at 9 o'clock and the output at 3 o'clock to keep from clipping and just leave it there.... ...If you use the next reverb up, which is more echo-y, you might want to turn the mix down a little...good for some heavily reverbed tunes... ....chorus/delay effect (the one at about 2 o'clock, I'm going from memory), I use variation 13 but otherwise the settings are the same as the reverb... |
