One of my Emmons volume pedals has a scratchy pot. I went to spray it and it appears sealed. Can these be sprayed to remove noise or are they completely sealed. Thanks in advance for your help. Boo

There are tabs that hold the back on the pot. It can be removed and the pot sprayed. However, in most cases, when a volume pedal pot starts to scratch it's not "dirty" but worn out. Spraying may clear it up, temporarily but ultimately it will have to be replaced.

Bobby, depends on how the pot is mounted (oriented). The best way is to remove the pot. The tabs are hard to get at when mounted.

All times are Pacific (US)
