I suppose it could be real, although it's interesting that it's only offered on the French eBay site (and auctioned out of Minnesota in the USA). Either way, it belongs in the Electronics section rather than No Peddlers.------------------ Brad's Page of Steel A web site devoted to acoustic & electric lap steel guitars |

It's not only listed on French eBay, that's just where Crowbear's link comes from. I know who needs to own that--I'm going to alert him to it. |

You're right, my mistake. Here's the same auction on the USA eBay site.

That's about the coolest thing I've seen on eBay in a while. I would even give a few bucks just to have that drink coaster. |

This is THE ORIGINAL BIGSBY pickup winding machine that I received from Ted McCarty Of Bigsby Accessories in Kalamazoo when I purchased the remaining inventory of all the Bigsby steel guitar related parts and forms and stuff-The seller is the person who purchased it from me last summer-I had written a letter of authenticity to the guy who bought it for provenance and I believe it goes with the winder and related parts-It probably belongs in a museum-There is lots of Paul's penciled printing on the board which he kept a ledger of his pickup winding activities from about 1951 to 1954-It's somewhat of a priceless relic of which the whole is worth much more than the sum of it's parts |

After you get the pickup wound, be sure to put genuine Bigsby Guitar Strings on the guitar.Greg

WOW-That is considerably more than I sold it for and I thought I got alot for it!-I believe it was purchased by a "well heeled" collector on the east coast who owns several original Bigsbys-Spanish and pedal steel models |
