Sorry, but I've been away and I've lost track of the recent difficulties with accessing YT videos.I subscribed to hi-speed internet (Comcast) mainly so that I could watch these clips but, after only a couple of weeks, I now only get that '....your Javascript may be turned off....' message. As suggested, I loaded the Firefox/Mozilla browser but it's made no difference. There's a link on the YT page to load the later 'Flash player', but I've lost count of the times I've tried to do that. I'm home for a while, so I have some time to fool around with this problem. Ken - did you solve it? Wiz - what's the latest theory on this? Many thanks, RR[This message was edited by Roger Rettig on 24 November 2006 at 05:24 AM.] |

I also had trouble loading the Flash Player on my daughter's computer--they may have a firewall set up I'm not sure, but every time I try to download Flash, it just seems to do nothing.Running Windows XP, using Internet Explorer 7. |

Try installing the flash player this way instead of on their website. Here's a link for the flash player that I uploaded to my server for anyone that needs it. Flash Player |

Thanks, Andy!At last I have YouTube back again - that worked for me! I don't know how permanent it'll be, because I have no idea how I lost it in the first place, but I'm grateful! RR |

Roger, your welcome. I had problems tryin to install the flash player from their website too until I downloaded the exe and installed it this way. I never could figure out why it wouldn't install before. [This message was edited by Andy Sandoval on 25 November 2006 at 11:17 PM.] |

I got the flash player installed, I don't remember how I did it but think I right-clicked on the icon on the taskbar that said insecure sites with a question mark, and it asked if I wanted to make Adobe a trusted site, I said Yes and I could get Flash Player after that. |
