I wanted those of you to think of my dad today as he goes for tests for an unknown illness that has plagued him for months. My sister Marie nor I were not aware he was having these problems.

Please if you will, keep him in your thoughts.

All of us would appreciate it very much. While he tries to make others smile and laugh.he has been crying on the inside. Please think of him today as he faces what ever fate has in store for him.

Thank you

Lorrie and Marie

We'll all be praying for you here at our house!

Thank you for all your well wishes for my dad.

We are still waiting for the prognosis of his
condtion. His vital signs are normal, but they are unable to at this time diagnose the problem.

My dad had his feet so swollen he couldnt put his shoes on.Ditto with his hands.

He asked for all of you and asked me to personally say thank you to Rick Alexander.
That was a GREAT tribute to my dad.

I told my dad about the web site and I had to leave the room,he was very emotional. He didnt want me to see his feelings come out.

I'll do my best to keep all of you up to date. My dad knows most all the nurses from the time my mom was in the hospital and they are unable to tell me anything, other than he ia a brave man and although he has pain, he brings a smile to the nurses. They love my dad. We all do.

Thanks again to all of you. I will keep in touch.

Knowing Jody, that's what he would want,is antic biotics. (as if he didn't have enough already.)

(sorry Marie, couldn't pass up an opportunity to take advantage of your "Freudian slip". Good luck Jody.)

Whew! Okay, that's good . . They know what it is and they're dealing with it. Thank goodness!

One of the pages of Jody's new web site has a list of links to some of the great forum threads Jody has started or participated in. If anyone would like to see a particular thread added to the list, all you have to do is click on the email link there and send me the URL of the thread.
You're all most welcome to link to the site and a page of links to Jody's many friends will soon be added to the site.
Jody's site is barely 2 days old and it's just getting started. Suggestions and contributions (pics & stuff - not money) are welcome.

This site is integrating with Dave Van Allen's excellent HCOA tribute site.

I hope to God you don't have septicimia ! I had it about 8 years ago and almost died! My BP dropped to 60/40 which is about as bad as it can get. Thank God for great doctors who pulled me out of it just in time. Poisoning of the system is very serious Jody. Make sure you have the proper attention.

Darn Jody; You're never a dull moment kinda guy! "Every" time I have a few busy days and don't visit the SGF thoroughly, I come back and find another Jody Carver escapade or caper; too often scary too! Never a dull moment! I realize God's riding with you; But maybe you better let him ride with one of us to the gigs for awhile ...lest you scare him too!

I am GLAD like h_ll (and somewhat relieved) that the docs seem to have this latest thang understood and under control. Next time don't take oysters home in yer pocket under all that shiny armor!

Aloha,
DT~
