I don't know much about Ray, except he was a Forum Brother. He had a dobro for sale over in our Instrumets section.

He son just posted, on that ad, that he passed. My prayers go out for the comfort his family.

I didn't know Ray but I have heard mention of him through the years. If I not mistaken, was it Ray who made a double neck dobro (under & over), the Raybro?

At any rate, it is always sad to hear of a fellow steel player and forum member passing.

My condolences to the Watkins family. May he live on in good memory.

I'm sorry to hear of Ray's passing! A friend and I were over to visit with Ray just a few weeks ago! I've known him for quite a number of years! He was a really nice person! My condolences to the Watkins Family.
