Bill, in the studio, it was probably Paul Franklin. When the song is performed live, it is their steel player, Roy Kontz. I play along with it on my steel while Paul plays on the record. I love the song, especially the steel parts. "Workin' On My Next Broken Heart" is one of my all-time favorite Brooks & Dunn songs. Brett Day, Emmons S-10 |

They may have their road picker on the video, but the sound track is from the album. Bruce Bouton on their sessions. |

B&D'S road steel player used to be Troy Klontz. Does anyone know if he is still with them? We grew up in the same town in Oklahoma, and he was a great player when he was 12 years old. Troy also played in the band that backed Roy Clark for several years. ------------------ |

We opened up for them last month and Troy is still playing with them. They're doing a pretty wild tour this year. Troy is a heck of a steel player. |
