Browsing some old Steel Guitar World Magazines recently and it caused me to wonder whatever became of Russ?
Just curious.
I know there were hard times but the man worked hard and contributed a great deal to steel guitar.
I hope at some point whether its through this Forum or some other media the man gets the recognition he deserves.

Russ Rask is doing OK. He lost his house over the Magazine a couple of years ago and I think living in an apartment complex in the Spokane Valley area with his wife. He is really a great guy and put his heart and soul into that Magazine. Duane Becker
