![]() Gary, on the fanfair festival that aired last night, your spot with Dierks featured the CatCan on "What was I Thinkin'". 2 questions: Did you use the RGS or an acoustic resonator on the recording? [Further research finds that Randy Kohrs did the recording, sorry bout that.] And, if it's not giving away any trade secrets, do you use a Match-Bro or a processor patch w/the CatCan for more of an acoustic resonator sound in a live situation like the fanfair deal? You sounded great BTW. May I say that I have enjoyed your style of playing for several years. Thanks muchly for your time. ![]() Hi Jerry.....thankyou for the nice comments. I've been using the RGS "cat can" in combination with the older version (gray box) of the Goodrich Matchbro. It doesn't sound as sweet as my Beard resophonic guitar but it sure saves alot of headaches....especially where headroom is concerned. Try it sometime..... |

![]() Thanks for the comeback and info Gary. I do understand the hassles involved in using your Beard in a big live situation like this. The sound you get on the CatCan is great and I'd be thrilled if I could make mine sound that good considering I don't have your hands or ability. I'll definitely be checking into the Matchbro tho'...Thanx again. |
