Alan Jackson's new single "Too Much of a Good Thing" is climbing the charts, and showing that Real Country can still sell. Lloyd offered these comments on his recording of this song. Posted with his permission.

My confession: I rarely listen to country radio, unless I get in my wife's car without remembering to grab some of the "good stuff" from the CD bin in my car. I heard part of this song as I was pulling into the garage. I talked over most of it--telling my daughter it was "Alan's new one"-- and shut the car off never giving it a second thought. I didn't even wait for the break. I just figured I'd pick up the CD in a day or two... only to later discover it's not released yet. It's coming September 7th!! ------------------ |
