Here is the image of the steel, it's much larger here because it's at 300 dpi. If you download it and use it to print, it will be about 1" high on the card.

Embossed ones of course are still pretty high buck propositions.

I'd like to see if there's a proggy that will print folding ones, or I guess I could only print 4 on each sheet and cut them twice as wide folding them.

It was a pretty inexpensive program.

they charge $5 to upload a custom (i.e., your) design, and the biggest bite is the shipping charges. still, you can get 5000 high quality full-color cards for maybe $100.

The advantage to a font is that it can be moved around and resized. Type a 72pt "A" and poof there is a steel guitar that can be made any size and manipulated like a font. It is cleaner than an image file both to size and fiddle with.
It will download as a zip file. Open it and drag the file DoubleNeck to the font folder in the control panels. It will then be available in word processors and other programs that use fonts. Mac users know what to do. I also have one for a keyless uni, if any want it.

I don't have any of them on this computer so I can't show them to you, I'll have to look on the other computer.

I printed them onto card stock I bought from Office Depot and cut them out with a single-edge modeler's type razor blade and metal straightedge. If you do it that way, watch you fingers and don't even attempt it if you're accident-prone! I haven't cut myself yet but there's always a first time. Of course you can use regular scissors too... I just like the cleaner, straighter cut from the razor blade... Of course a paper-cutter is best, but watch your fingers with it too, it won't just cut them, it'll take 'em right off. The clean-edge fold and separate paper from Avery would be good, but more expensive than doing it yourself, but also safer.
