Yes, I got a tattoo of my ZumSteel, in 2005. It's on my upper right arm. The artist had no idea what it was, but, did a great job on it. He added the drop vee front and some very nice shading. I don't have a picture of it, yet, though I'd gladly take one if someone could could post it. I don't know how.
BTW- I got a little flamed ( on the forum ) for getting it. Something about being a degenerate or something to that nature. People just can't keep their mouths shut.

I have 4 dragons and 3 koi, with the traditional backrounds of wind and clouds and water. Cliff Raven from the waist up, Greg James from the waist down.

I've got a heart with a banner and lots of symbolic little things in the heart relating to my life, including a reference to Emmons. The banner contains the Sho-Bud script, on my left upper arm. My 15 yr. old daughter designed it for me...she's a great artist.

I love it! So true.

I have no tatoos, never saw anything I wanted really.
But a classic Sho-Bud one might not be too bad.

I do like the traditional Japanese tattoing styles.
At least it is really art.
And not something to be ashamed of when taking
your shirt off in front of the grandchildren 45 years later.
Look grandpa is a museum quality work of art!

So many I have seen are appropriate for your 20's
and really idiotic in your 50's.
Some were just poor at any age....

This doesn't include servicemen and womens
regimental markings etc.

I was just down at the supermarket this afternoon
and saw this guy there with tattos over
at LEAST 75% of his body.

Good work too, but my first thought was,
you never want to get in a fight with
a bloke so addicted to pain,
that he thought this was a good idea.

Kevin Owen (who plays with Tanya Tucker) has the Sho-Bud script logo on his forearm. He also plays Jimmy Day's permanent. Pretty cool combination.

Interesting. The only tattoo I would have would be one impossible to duplicate. For a committment like this, you might as well be in a class by yourself!

My tat has usually generated assumptive comments like: "I'm guessing you were in the Navy, got drunk, and got that tattoo".

My reply: "Almost right, except it was in highschool on our Junior/Senior Trip".

To say that a bunch of parents were upset is an understatement. I sometimes wonder if the unfortunate tattoo artist who did an entire Senior class of underage boys is out of jail yet?

I'm 52 and have never had a one, but since the Good Lord has decided to let me live on at least a little while (only he knows how long) I've decided to get one of my favorite guitar on my upper left arm.

I'm not ashamed to put it down on my forearm but the artist that's going to do it suggested that my skin above my shirt sleeve was in much better condition more smooth and supple and told me that my tattoo would come out much more vibrant and life like up there on what he called virgin skin (not sun damaged for 52 years).

My forearm is where I really wanted it but I think I'll take his advice. I want it to look as bright and clear as it can. I can always wear extra short sleeved shirts if I want folks to see it because the bottom of it will reach right down to the top of my elbow.

Oh by the way the price of tattoo's have really gone up in the last few years he wants 350.00 to do mine. WOW

I was going to have two W's tattoed on each cheek and when I bent over with no shorts on it would spell WoW and if I stood on my head it would read MoM! Sorry :-) especially to Mom!

About 2 years ago I got my Telecaster inked onto my right forearm. It was my Mid-Life- Crisis gift to myself. You see, it was about the only choice I had cause my wife would not let me get: A. A red sport car, B. A Harley Davidson, or C. A misstress.

I have been thinking of getting one of a an extremely lifted F-250, carrying an Emmons in the back being played by a slobbering Tyrannnosaurus. Done in that style that you used to see in the 70s of some horrible looking monster driving a top alcohol funny car. I can see it in my mind's eye, but can't draw well enough anymore to render it. But it would be killer.
