Hello Pickers, I am posting this to hopefully get to know some of you in the Los Angeles area and offer you my services in the repair of your pedal steel guitar. I have been traveling a lot in the past few years, studying manufacturers along the way, but my stops in the L.A. area were too brief to establish a solid repair home base. But now I have set up a permanent shop at my home in the Signal Hill / Long Beach area. I have had factory training along with years of experience working on many makes of pedal steels. Some of the brands that I have experience with are: I have recently set up an alliance with a local machinist to manufacture new and hard-to-locate parts for older models. This will reduce costs when it comes to adding such items as knee levers, stops and extra raises and lowers to your guitar. However, I always recommend using factory parts whenever available, and can get most any brand available. I have the ability to clean up your guitar and get it playing like new. I can make any adjustment necessary and have many parts on hand to repair and custom fit your steel to your needs. I am very reasonably priced and all my work is guaranteed. So if you are in the So Cal. area and are in need of Steel Guitar Repair, please call me or e-mail and I will be happy to help you out. |
