I predict we will not see new Fender Stringmasters until the price of average condition used ones becomes acceptable at $2000, or more.For that to happen there has to be some event that increases their desirability among standard guitarists. A hit video or movie, or something similar featuring the instrument. That might happen. Or it could happen to the accodian or bagpipes. We are at the point the banjo was at before the movie "Deliverance". Fender made some fine banjos after that movie. Of course my crystal ball hasn't been too reliable, on this planet. |

Yes I really need it. I could glue them all together and make an 11 neck Stringmaster! Seriously, it is sweet - too damn much though. But, if somebody buys it, that will set the mark a little higher and before you know it you won't be able to look at one for less than 2K. Then if Joey Ace's prediction holds true, Fender will seriously consider making them again. Hmmmm . . .
